How it works
He sets up the page. She plans the date.
PairXO is one private page with two sides. The person who owns it fills it with date ideas and gift wishes and decides who may open it. The person he shares it with picks from it, without ever seeing a price.
We write he and she because that is how most couples use it. The roles work the same way whoever holds them.
For him

-
Sign up and get your page
Pick a username and a password. Your page gets its own address, pairxo.com/u/ followed by your name, and nobody can open it until you share it.
-
Add date options
There are three kinds: an activity (a film, a climbing session), a place (a restaurant, a park) and extras (flowers, dessert, a taxi home). Each one can carry an estimated cost. That number is for you alone.
-
Add gifts and asks
Put gifts you would actually like on a list, with a note if it helps. For something bigger, add an ask for a gift card or for cash towards it.
-
Share it
Share with a PairXO username and switch dates, gifts and cash on or off for that person. You can also set a budget for them. Or create a guest password: it comes with a link, and whoever has it needs no account.
-
Answer the plans
Plans arrive on your dashboard with the day, the picks and her note. You accept or decline each one, and she sees your answer.
For her
She opens it and picks
-
Open the page
Use the link he sent, type the guest password on pairxo.com/guest/, or sign in if he shared the page with your username.
-
Plan a date in five steps
When, activity, place, extras, then a last look before sending. Any step can be skipped, and there is room for a note.
-
Reserve a gift
Mark a gift as yours and it shows as reserved to everyone else on the page, so nobody buys the same thing. You can release it later.
-
Cover a gift card or cash
Press “I will cover this” on an ask. It is a promise on the page; the money itself changes hands outside PairXO.
-
No prices, ever
She never sees a price, a total or his budget. If her picks go past what he planned, the last step tells her so in plain words, and she goes back and chooses something else.
What stays private
- A person without access who tries your page address gets a page-not-found answer, not a locked door.
- A section you switch off for someone does not exist for them: no heading, no empty box.
- People you share with never see each other, or who reserved or sent what.
- Revoking access, for a username or a guest password, works on their next click.
More detail is on the questions page.
See both sides before you sign up
The demo lets you try her side and his side with sample ideas, without an account. Nothing you type there is saved.
